William D. Montgomery
William D. Montgomery (Will), a lifelong Mississippi resident, was born in Greenwood and raised in Port Gibson. Since graduating from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law Mr. Montgomery’s practice has focused primarily on civil litigation. For the past fifteen years, he has represented corporations, regional/local businesses, and individuals across Mississippi and Western Tennessee, providing effective, efficient representation tailored to the individual needs of his clients. Mr. Montgomery has spent much of his career in the courtroom, trying dozens of cases to verdict in Mississippi and Tennessee. His trial success is complemented by several seminal victories at the appellate level.
Mr. Montgomery currently represents a wide range of clients involved in commercial litigation related to breach of contract, corporate fraud, bad-faith insurance claims, construction defect litigation, and real estate transactions. Mr. Montgomery also routinely handles injury claims involving automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, and products liability cases.
Mr. Montgomery is a Martindale Hubbard AV rated attorney and has been distinguished as a Mid-South Super Lawyer. He is licensed to practice in the state courts of Mississippi and Tennessee, all Mississippi Federal Courts, the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
